1. Shipping Policy
- At present, LingusX only ships and delivers its Products within India and partners with third party logistic and delivery service providers in order to effectuate Product shipping and delivery to the Customer (“ Delivery Partner "). LingusX shall provide the details of the Delivery Partner who will be responsible for shipping and delivery of the Products purchased by the Customer on the Platform until such Product is processed and delivered to the Customer.
- LingusX’s standard delivery timelines range between 3 (Two) to 15 (Seven) business days from the date of Order of the Product by the Customer. However, this timeline differs based on the delivery location and the delivery of Products to certain locations may take longer than the above-mentioned timeline. Additionally, the Customer may be provided with Order confirmation details.
- The Customer agrees and acknowledges to provide correct and accurate shipping information to enable LingusX to effectuate timely delivery of the purchased Products including but not limited to name, shipping address, billing address, landmarks, contact details etc. The Customer shall ensure that all such information submitted to LingusX is true, complete, accurate and sufficient to identify the actual location of delivery. The Customer understands and agrees that LingusX shall not be liable in any manner due to the Customers failure to provide correct and complete information for successful delivery of the Products.
- For cash on delivery (“ COD ”) Orders, the Customer shall be provided with a one-time password (“ OTP ”) and will be asked to share the OTP with the Delivery Partner at the time of delivery. Once the correct OTP is entered and payment is made, the Delivery Partner will deliver the Product to the Customer. The Customer acknowledges that the Delivery Partner is authorized to collect cash on LingusX’s behalf for COD Orders.
- While LingusX makes reasonable endeavours in ensuring that the Products are delivered to the Customer in a timely manner and within the timelines set forth in this Policy, the Customer accepts and acknowledges that the delivery may be delayed on account of: (a) logistical issues beyond LingusX’s control, (b) unsuitable weather conditions, (c) political disruptions, lockdowns, strikes, riots, protests etc., (d) acts of God such as floods, earthquakes, etc., and (d) any other such unforeseeable circumstances. It is expressly clarified that LingusX shall not be liable and is under no obligation to compensate the Customer for any claim that may arise due to such delay in the shipment or delivery of the purchased Products.
- LingusX endeavours to engage professional Delivery Partners to deliver the Products to the Customer. However, the Customer agrees and acknowledges that LingusX shall not be liable for any acts or omissions on part of the Delivery Partner, its employees, agents, or personnel including but not limited to deficiency in service, wrong delivery of Products, delay in delivering the Product, tampering with the Product.
